Museum of Iranian dolls opens doors to visitors

‘Museum of Iran Dolls and Culture’ in Iran has helped visitors become familiar with the stories of different ethnicities in Iran.

Visitors to the museum in the Iranian capital city of Tehran are introduced to various Iranian ethnicities, costumes, tales and legends.

The collection of dolls at the museum reflect various Iranian folk ethnic groups, historical dynasties, authors of children’s literature, and women of Iran’s different regions and their clothes.

A select collection of dolls are made by artisans including Parichehr Rahimi, Mojdeh Daneshpajouh, Sarah Hosseini.

A doll, a story and a legend of every Iranian ethnicity is presented at the museum. Visitors are encouraged to become familiar with the stories of different ethnicities of Iran.
